Ron believes it is very important to recognize dedication and willingness to practice. As a result, priority is given to students who are consistently practicing their minimum daily requirements.

Important Note – If a student wants to reach full potential on an examination, then:
• Students studying for Grade III – IV Piano exams should take at least 45-minute lessons.
Students studying for Grade V Piano exams must take 60 minute lessons
• Students studying for Grade VI – X Piano exams must take at least 60-minute lessons.
• Students at a Grade V level (and up) are doing quite difficult work and therefore should not miss more than 4 consecutive weeks of practice at any time throughout the year. This means that practicing is imperative in the summertime. These students should also practice each and every day. Students who cannot follow the above guidelines, for any reason, should understand that they will likely have difficulty preparing for and performing at recitals and exams, and that they will likely not reach their potential. All above times do not include Theory Exam preparation.
• Also, First and Second year students must practice about 10 to 15 minutes daily over the summer.
